Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Kasey Lesley Dawson, trading as Spirits Reserve, is responsible for the personal information handled by this store at spirits-reseerve.com. This policy explains our practices and your choices.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and order information, such as your name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, purchases and delivery instructions.
  • Payment confirmations, transaction references, refund information and limited payment-method details provided by our payment services. Payment credentials are processed through the checkout payment providers.
  • Messages, enquiries, complaints and information you provide when requesting support.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, basket activity and cookie preferences.

We collect information from you when you browse, order or contact us, and from our platform, payment and delivery providers when they process your transaction. If essential order or delivery details are not provided, we may be unable to complete the purchase.

2. How we use information

We use information to process payments and orders, arrange delivery, provide customer service and remedies, prevent fraud, maintain security, keep necessary records and meet legal obligations. We also use website and advertising information to understand performance and improve our store, subject to your applicable choices and legal requirements.

3. Sharing and Shopify

Information needed for these purposes is shared with Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment suppliers, carriers and service providers supporting our store. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful.

Shopify hosts our store and provides commerce services. Depending on the service, Shopify handles information on our behalf or for its own purposes, including when you use its consumer services such as Shop or Shop Pay. See Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify's privacy portal.

4. Cookies and Meta Pixel

Cookies and similar technologies support the basket, checkout, security and preferences. We also use Meta Pixel to measure advertising, create audiences and show relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

When the pixel operates, Meta may receive your IP address, browser and device information, pages and products viewed, basket activity and purchase events, including value and currency. Meta may associate this information with information it already holds about you. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

Use the choices presented in our cookie banner to manage optional tracking. You may also contact us to ask about these controls or request that we stop using your information for targeted advertising. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although this may affect store functions and may not control every tracking technology. Meta account holders can also review their advertising preferences.

Placing an order or accepting store terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to unrelated marketing.

5. Overseas handling

Products are dispatched from China. We share the information needed to prepare and deliver your order with suppliers and logistics providers in China. Our platform, payment and advertising providers may also handle information outside Australia, including in Canada and the United States. Their privacy notices describe their international operations; contact us for information about the recipients relevant to your order.

We limit disclosures to information needed for the relevant service and take reasonable steps appropriate to our legal obligations to protect information handled overseas. Shopping with us does not waive any protection available under Australian law.

6. Marketing messages

If you choose to receive marketing emails or messages, you can unsubscribe using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. Marketing messages identify the sender and provide contact details. We action unsubscribe requests within five working days, without a fee or a requirement to log in. Necessary messages about an order, delivery, payment or complaint may still be sent.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information and restrict access to people who need it for the relevant purpose. No system can guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, applicable record-keeping requirements and the resolution of claims. We then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.

8. Requests and complaints

You may contact us to request access to or correction of information we hold about you, ask for deletion of information no longer needed, or make a privacy complaint. We may request proportionate evidence of identity. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why, subject to applicable law.

For a complaint, describe the concern and the outcome you seek. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where the matter falls within its jurisdiction.
